Step into the playful and patterned world of Yayoi Kusama, one of the most celebrated contemporary artists of our time. Known as the “Queen of Polka Dots,” Kusama transforms simple shapes into bold, immersive artworks filled with colour, repetition, and imagination. In this workshop, young artists will explore her work while painting vibrant pumpkins and printing their own patterned pumpkin experimenting with bold acrylic techniques and playful designs inspired by her unique style. ✨ What to expect: Discover Kusama’s iconic pumpkin artworks and learn how she uses dots, colour, and repetition Paint bold, patterned pumpkins using acrylic techniques Design and build a 3D pumpkin sculpture decorated in Kusama’s distinctive style Experiment with pattern-making, colour contrasts, and immersive design Create a beautiful large and small pumpkin to take home and proudly display for Halloween This workshop is both fun and skill-building, encouraging imagination while developing confidence in painting and design. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is needed – just bring your creativity and love of pattern!

Cancellation Policy
As a small business with limited places, we ask for full payment at the time of booking to secure your child’s place. We completely understand that plans can change, so if you cancel with at least 14 days’ notice, we can offer a refund (less a £5 administration fee) or transfer your booking to another available holiday club.
Unfortunately, cancellations within 14 days are normally non-refundable, as staffing and materials will already have been arranged. However, if we are able to fill your child’s place, we will be happy to offer a transfer or credit. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home and contact us as soon as possible—we will always do our best to help. If The Arts Factory needs to cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking.
